The first picture is what she looked like when I brought her home a year ago. The bottom two are the almost finished product (it’s never truly finished is it LOL). I slowly acquired what I considered the best all around parts to build a Jeep that will nicely behave on the street and be very trail capable (this Jeep will spend 95% of its time on the street). I tried to buy quality components that wouldn’t break the bank. I don’t believe in using cheap parts but I also had to stay within a reasonable budget. I’m very happy with the outcome. It handles and rides better than stock on the road. As for off-road I haven’t been able to truly test here out but from the limited testing I’ve done so far I’m quite certain this Jeep can outperform my driving abilities LOL.
Here is a quick rundown of parts used...
Old Man Emu Sport series shocks 2.5” lift.
Old Man Emu (heavy) coil springs 2.5” lift.
Old Man Emu steering stabilizer
JKS front and rear adj track bars.
JKS quick disconnects.
DPG 2” extended bump stops
Currie adj upper and lower control arms.
Savvy 1.25” body lift (aluminum pucks).
Brown Dog 1” raise motor mounts.
285/75R16 Goodyear DuraTracs.
