Here's a trick for those who have linear rate coil springs installed. If you know the spring rate and free length of your springs, you have the ability to closely calculate the sprung weights of your Jeep.
Once you figure out the sprung weights, you can look at any other linear rate coil spring with published rates and free lengths and predict with pretty good certainty what the lift height will be on your Jeep.
A spring with rate of 100lbs/in will compress 1" for every 100lbs placed on top of it.
If that spring has a free length of 10" and is then compressed down to 6" with a weight placed on it, then you know that weight is 400lbs.
Now place that 400lb weight on a 200lb/in spring with a free length of 10". What will the compressed height be?
