Need advise/help

I need some help...does anyone know if a 98 wire harness off the pcm that goes to all sensors like maf,injectors, crank pos.,water temp, ignition coil, ect....will a 98 wire harness work on a 97?? Both are 4.0 with manual trans...any help or advise is super appreciated!!!! Thank you..

Mostly kinda. The potential problem is that early 97 TJs came with some 95 YJ sensors with different connectors. My 97 TJ had a 3/96 manuf. date and it had some 95 YJ sensors who's connectors were incompatible with 97 sensors.

OK I want to say mine was later in 97 but of course I'm out of town for work and not sure if my wife will be able to figure out how to see the door jam mfg label and read it right lol but I will be back in the garage tomorrow so will check then, going to attempt to explain to her if nothing il get a good laugh out of her attempt lol...thank God she hot is all I have to say!!! Haha thank you for your reply many of your other replies have to other threads have help me find a fix or answer I needed so thank you for helping the learning as I go guys like myself!!!
