New to Jeeps and TJs

Id shitcan what looks to be 15x10 wheels and the mud tires. 15x8' with some nice AT's. Looks like your passenger axle seal or brake cyl are leaking along with the pinion seal. Kinda looks like the inner front diff seals may be weeping as well as I see what looks like greasy axle ends. Not the end of the world but you better check the diff fluid levels. Otherwise it looks like a decent rig underneath.

Well the speed limit signs are more of a suggestion in Texas, lol😂 but I figured I’d go between 65 and 70 mph on the interstate

Your tire pressure for 33's should drop to 26psi. 28 will not be low enough. Then your shocks are what determine your ride quality. There are forum recommendations. They all pretty much suck, but almost anything is better than Rough Country, Bilstein, and Rancho 5000. The usual recommendations here are the Skyjacker BlackMax and Rancho 5000X. The 9000X will offer some adjustability, but most people think they are too firm on the softest setting, so don't throw your money in the garbage. If you really want it to ride well you have a long way to go to a tuned shock since you're not even close to set up for them.

Nice rig and welcome to the forum!

So my tires are at 31 psi so I’ll hook the air down system to em and drop em to 28 psi and see how that is and adjust if needed. I’ll look into the headlights you suggested, and tires. It has 188,000 miles on it. It has only had 2 owners before me in Texas, that doesn’t mean they only used it Texas. The shocks are ranchos 5000s so my upgrade to the 9000xl. You’ll are all awesome thanks.

Drop to 26 psi. You'll find they don't wander as much as they do at 31psi and will be far smoother. Less harsh over bumps.

Hard to tell the age of your shocks since the paint Rancho uses is awful. Don't be so quick to switch Rancho's. Get the other stuff dialed in first. I have the RS5000X Rancho's and the ride is just fine. Are there better options? Maybe. But don't change too many things at once. Start with the tire pressure. Make sure EVERY bushing is in good order. Double check the steering components. Once all is confirmed in good order, play with shock options.

Can't argue that.. I have had 15x10's for a few years and have wanted to change them since I got the Jeep.
Finally found a set of 15x8 that I like.. have them in the shed. Waiting until spring to mount them.

Ditto on 26lbs, makes all the difference, but don't expect car ride quality, it's a jeep 😉

Don't want a 4 door TJ?

You can do better than a Cadillac

not on my budget. I’m having falken wildpeak at4s put on Friday. Thursday imma have a mechanic look it over to check it out and see what are absolute needs fixin and what can wait. I just noticed my oil pressure gauge is reading midway all the time now, have no idea why, I assume that is normal for tjs

It's a dummy gauge on your year, not a true reading. More of a good/bad light with a needle.
not on my budget.

Me and you both...
