1999 Sahara with 59k miles. Picked it up yesterday. 5spd and 3.73. Was a 3 owner jeep and it's a little rougher than I wanted but drives amazing and couldnt beat the price

That's a pretty good looking Jeep.

They quit selling them as new 13 years ago.

it has the 35. gave the undercarraige a good pressure cleaning. need a good APC and some wire brushes to get it really clean. ordered the clog hog and 4 cans of Eastwood internal frame coating. wanna change the oil, rear and front diff and probably go on and change the belt

Looks just like my 2000 Sahara. The green/tan paint scheme is my favorite of any TJ. I got lucky with a Dana 44, but not so lucky with a grumpy 5-speed NV3550 that complains about entering 2nd gear on cold mornings. You lucked out with the AX-15, so first thing I'd do after changing the motor oil is Redline MT90 synthetic in the gearbox, ATF+4 in the transfer case, and conventional gear oil in the diffs.

Is that a brand-new top? No way that thing has seen much Florida sun, looks mint.

i will add that to my list of things to do. the top is not new, its in good shape but the windows are kinda rough. it will do for now and allow me to address other things till i have to get to a new top
