well after many months of leaving notes and waiting for a response i finally got one. i found a 97 TJ Sport with the 4.0 in it and bought it for $700. Frame is shot considering it’s native to WNY. The doors and hardtop are in amazing condition doors just have a thin layer of plasti dip and rear glass on the top has a slight crack. the engine runs and drives perfectly with 125k on motor and trans. can i get my money back out?

Heck yeah, hardtop and doors are worth triple that (or more) or so if parted out. Window crack will hurt some and will be best to remove plastic dip but sounds like you should. Other parts to be sold too…good luck

You did very well. Find the most solid frame you can and get after it. Could be a nice Jeep with some work…

If you’re not interested in going that route you can probably make several thousand easily with a quick part out…

i plan on taking what i want and just parting it out underneath is a mess.
