Maybe it’s me, but I believe the Procomps really being about that same kind of look the machined Mopar Moabs do for the Wranglers. Which I am a major fan of.

Being honest here, I keep coming back your post and the more and more I look at the YJ I posted wearing them, the more I believe the ProComps will really look awesome on your Jeep.

Are the Procomps cast or forged?

Yeah thanks, I agree they have a good look, it’s an “upgraded” appearance but not not too obnoxious. I’m want to keep it as clean and simple in appearance as possible. I’m going to guess cast because I feel like they’d cost a lot more if they were forged but I’m really guessing.

Not sure the only fix I have seen for this would work in this case. Ive only seen the butt crack plate welded to a steel rear bumper.

Meh I’m not bothered by it. @Alex01 enlightened me to the idea of raising the rear crossmember that @jjvw did but I’m light years away from that at this point. For now I’ll risk indecent exposure charges

Ha ha no, not yet. I’m just messing around too. UPS has been getting after it these last few months so it’s all good. Tracking says arriving tomorrow but the details say it’s in IL so we’ll see. Baby steps... all the way to Moab 2021

Sorry missed this.

I sanded the pc off the side I welded. I also added the tailgate reinforcement into the mix. I only ruffed that and the hinges up with sand paper proir until it was dull looking.
