No spare tire?

I would be interested to see that, I bounced the idea of fabbing one up myself before I bought this. At the time though, I had more money than time or material, so I did what I did.
Be sure to post up what you come up with. I always like seeing and getting new ideas.
Just decided I wanted the cargo space more than having the tire in the back. The entire reason for putting it there in the first place was during a Moab trip last year I caught the tire quite a few times while descending ledges. I have since lifted the Jeep another inch and made an adaptor for my Bestop tire carrier to raise the tire about another 1-1/4” inches, hopefully will minimize dragging the tire.

But I wonder if it allows you to still use the rear seat, or if it gets rid of the rear seat brackets altogether and just replaces them.

I'm going to install a dually axle out of a 3500 truck. Then I have two spares no matter where I go, have my cargo space, and no tire hanging off the back.
I would hate a spare tire in my cargo area since I don't have an LJ. I'd rather have it hanging off the back even with the downsides to that. But that is just me with my large amount of trail stuff jammed in the back.

Most cars now don't even have the donut, just a can of fix a flat, or at best, run flats. Weight savings. However if you cut a tire badly, you are stranded.
When I dropped from 35s to 33s, I finally bought a spare because I want to drive it long distance.
I remember watching something that explained why no spares out west. The steep rock climbs cause the tire to drag and sometimes cause damage. There's also the added weight on the back. I plan on removing my back seat (when the kids aren't with me) and putting the spare into the bed when out at Moab. My current spare is a never used MT/R.
I think Fred Williams fits a deflated 40 in the back of tube sock.
Didn’t read all the replies but I have a full size spare on both rigs with matching wheels. I carry a 20 pound CO2 tank. I carry a tire plug kit (professional kit).
But I take my rigs on long off-road trips. The 4Runner is the overlanding rig. Although haven’t had to use them, knock on wood, I won’t go without.

I can't say for sure, but from the photos it would appear that you might be able to simply sandwich the carrier between the floor and the seat brackets. It might then require a separate spacer (3/16"?) be bolted in between the further back seat mounts, or then again you could to omit those which might recline the rear seat just a smidgen.
Of course for the fastest conversion back and forth you could just run two ratchet straps in an "X" over the tire and attached them to the rear seat brackets you already have!
Just ask Blaine if he'll build you a tire rack like the one he did with the electric actuators that lift the rack up to access storage underneath. Add it to the tab.

Since I have no one with my when I wheel, I have taken the backseat out and do xactly this. My 35 does take up all the room in my TJ but it works and I have found other places to put my tool bag and small yeti cooler that I often take

I ran with no spare with my last LJ for a couple of reasons. 1st, I realized when I got home with it the rim was bent so badly it would never hold air again. 2nd, I went with the CJ tailgate and didn't want a swing-away. I only have a 6 mile commute, so it was never an issue.
I'd really like to go with the CJ tailgate again. I really liked the functionality and it looks so damn cool. But I was never happy with the match on the Deep Beryl Green on the last one, and I'm guessing I'd be similarly disappointed with trying to match the finish Bright Silver Metallic on this one. If I drop the spare I won't worry about it around town, but will try to come up with a way to store it for trail rides and longer trips.
