Hey everyone,

I just got a 2004 Jeep TJ, and the odometer isn’t reading any kilometers, but the trip meter still works fine. Has anyone encountered this before or know of any fixes?
Also, are there any OBD readers I can use to check the mileage or troubleshoot this issue?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I can't speak to the specific features of different readers, but you have the option of buying a dedicated OBDII code reader or using an OBDII bluetooth adapter, your smartphone and an app like Torque (there are others). I'm not a big smartphone/app guy, but I've been using Torque for many years now and think it does a solid job.

Had this since I bought my jeep everything works fine I can check the codes and I can do the trip meter but I can’t see the kilometres I’ve tried many things to fix it but have never figured it out
