Officially moving to Huntsville, AL

We accepted offer of $494k on our $479k listing. We purchased this at $270k in Dec 2012...

Sat morning i will start the drive up, and visit some friends on the way. Next week we will be looking at properties up there, I have a few in sight, just need to convince wife to be on the same page on them. (most are a tad rural to the Huntsville area, but still should be about a 20 minute drive for me to work)

Just come on up to Wisconsin- the weather is really fine and has 4 seasons. Winter, sort of winter, summer, sort of winter. The beauty is awesome and there is snow to play in. I am selling my 5 bed 4 bath house for $280,000. Up here in rural areas the home price you got (490K) would be a large lake home. Full basement, two insulated attached garages (2 car, 1 car), 1 insulated heated small shed for snow blower tractor, 2 acre wooded lot, great neighbors. No utilities to pay except nat gas and electric. House has it's own well and septic. 2 year old roof. Ski hill approx 6 miles away. MOTHER IN LAW APARTMENT.

Selling it to move to our small lake house. Just wife and i now that kids are grown and Mother In Law passed.

No on WI. I'm moving for work... My grandparents, and a lot of family are/were in WI along the coast, Sheboygan, Milwaukee, Green Bay. One of my uncles got passed all the Green Bay stocks and season tickets.

And, after living in (near Canada) NY, I do not do the cold... ya'll can keep that white stuff that the treatment of eats cars too...

A tad further is better in my opinion!!!! I drive almost an hour to work every day!!!!

I was down that way today, almost hollered @AndyG But we were picking up some breeder meat rabbits for my youngest daughter and SIL, while they are down with the rona. Dug Hill road has a lot of nice houses down in that area!!!!! Way more than this poor mountain boy can afford +!!!!
