Our first Jeep

After a few years of searching for a Jeep, my wife and I finally came across one we had to have. 2004 Rubicon with 115k miles, and manual transmission. More miles than we wanted but clean Carfax and just in great shape. Frame is clean and has brand new Goodyear Duratracs installed by the dealer. Only 80 miles away so we were happy we could drive down and pick it up easy enough. No real mods that I can see, unsure if it may have a slight lift or not. Needs a few issues addressed but wife is happy so that’s what counts! A few pics I hope showed up. Thanks for the great forum!

Thanks everyone! We paid $14,500. Probably a little too much but here in the midwest it’s tough finding one that’s not rusted to death. Saw this one and we knew it’s what we’ve been looking for. Plus we wanted a Rubicon model with the 5 speed.

By the way, this is a superb forum! Loads of info, I’m at page 17 working my way back.

Very nice looking Rubicon. Great color. There is a ton of great information here. I paid 15k for a Sport here on the West coast with 70k on it and lifted. Felt like I overpaid but as I learn more I realize things could have been far worse and the pickings were quite slim.
