"Pacing myself" build

Well, the tie rod is definitely bent. Tie rod sleeve on the driver side is about 1/8" from hitting the sway bar bracket when I have it turned left. Suggestions on how I could tug that end and bend it back a bit? I need to keep the pull down low so it's not pulling back in an upward motion.

I think we have a hydraulic clamp spreader at work that might fit the bill. Will see. That or tie a tow strap to something at ground level and give it a reverse tug in 4lo.

Thanks @rasband. It's been a slow progression, and nowhere near as exciting as some of the great builds on here, including yours, which I've been following.

@ac_, I measured the rears at ride height. I'm getting exactly 2" of lift. It's tough getting a accurate measurement due to the arch the springs have, so I tried to get a center axis measurement with a string. My 3/4" poly spacers may have compressed a bit. With the spacers I get 2.5" of lift and 2" up front. Now I need to buy some new 2933 for up front, lol!

Epic fail by UPS today! The long tie rod showed up and looked like the UPS driver dragged it behind the truck for 10 miles. The box was trashed and the hardware kit/boot was missing. I refused it and did the Amazon return thingy. Next one to show up Friday.

I swear UPS took the first package I returned and gave it back to me. It looks just as beat up , and missing the boot kit. I'm moving on and buying a boot and zerk fitting.

I thought you did the fronts before rubicon?? Did you only get the rears from @ac_?

Yep, just the rears from @ac_. The fronts have sagged 1/2" too, so now I have a rake. They are only 12 years old and have 140K miles on them, so I guess they don't owe me anything.

Ok , this is how tight I am. Rather than spend $20 for a clean Ebay holder, I glued mine back together. First 2 attempts failed. 3rd one is holding. The glue was free, ha!

Yep, I have not been kind to them. Just ask my first gen OME nitro shocks that I bought with the kit. They lasted over 100K before bleeding out!
