Oh - really? I knew about Module Gods - I thought they were the same company using two different names to appeal to different markets (standard "ECU Team" and racing/tuning "Module Gods"). That's how their sites are set up too. It's not that uncommon (two divisions of one company).
Are you sure about the names - aren't they both still open for business (you said "new name means no old problems"). It looks like they're both still up and in business.
No biggie - I don't have a dog in the fight - but I might have to buy a computer from them some day - what bad experiences did you have with ECU Team?
Who did you end up having a good experience with?
The module gods operation was spearheaded by the son of the owner of ECU Team. He is now doing business as Automodule gods. Anyway I’m not looking to air the dirty laundry, I just wanted to caution folks to be an educated consumer and look into who your buying from because it’s no small sum of money and the warranty is only as good as the company your dealing with. I have an FS1 module with 10k miles on it that I’ve been happy with and it was almost half the cost of the Module gods units that failed. I also have an FSEG module as a backup.
