Popping the lock

So, I'm about 45 miles from home. Driving the 2000 TJ today and I have a business meeting in a few hours. I happen to lock myself out of the jeep with my keys still in the ignition. I have the hard top on.

Is there any way to pop the lock with a coat hanger or not? Or am I going to have to call a locksmith?

If your hard top is like mine just pry open the rear lift gate window and climb on in. Might be worth a shot anyway. Then again maybe you cant get the spare out of the way.

Found a video online on how to repair a non-function lock. Found where the switch was on the inside of the door panel and slid a stiff wire rod in there with a hook on the end and popped the lock in about 15 seconds. I might have found myself a new career! ha ha
