Awesome seats!! I appreciate the info.

I'm currently leaning towards Cordura over suede.

I erred above, the fabric I selected was tweed not Cordura. I liked the tweed when I was looking at samples, it had a tight weave and I knew it would breathe well so I wouldn't stick to it while wheeling on hot days. I'm real happy with my seat covering materials.

I have and need to use my grab handles to get up & into my seats. But even trying to drop directly down into my Daily Drivers, the piping on the driver's side of the bolster still went to hell in a handbasket. I can't say how old they were then but I'd guess it happened well within the first year.

I have a Daily Driver on the driver side while I wait for PRP to send me an Enduro High Back. I use the side step and grab handle to pull myself over the bolster so that I don't even contact the piping.

I'm not sure if I would go with piping in the future or not. I came across the Daily Driver seat for cheap on eBay and then bought the passenger side Enduro from Quadratec because it was in stock. I think the piping looks good, and may even seem a practical purpose, but there certainly are concerns about durability.

I’m glad to read good info on the twead, that’s what I plan to get. Vinyl gets too hot and I like breathable fabric.

This is what my piping looks like today. I ended up cutting 5-6 inches of loose plastic piping out from the open area in the top photo. It was hanging down loose.

Keep in mind, tweed is a stiffer fabric and a little scratchy on the bare skin. So, if you have "hotties" slip'n and slide'n out of your Jeep half naked in bikini's there's gonna be rub'n! lol

That's good to know. I've been leaning towards tweed the entire time but hearing you praise it makes me feel better, as I honestly just don't know much about it.

If you already haven't, touch on my pictures and it will blow up in another frame in high res and you can get a good close up on the tweed fwiw.

I thought you had the Cordura Jerry?
When I say stiffer, I mean as in comparison to the cordura or suede.
I'm happy with mine too.
EDIT: My bad Jerry, I see you now you said you got a combo of vinyl and tweed.
My question is, will they warranty the piping for you?

I never asked them to, I don't sweat the small stuff like that.

In older threads, Jerry stated that he had Cordura, so that might be why you thought that was the case.

In this thread, Jerry clarified that he, in fact, has Tweed.

I found and corrected the couple places I mistakenly said Cordura to say tweed.

I just put a set of the Enduro Elites in mine, here were my thoughts and considerations.
I went with the Tweed on all surfaces available for comfort and wear, carbon fiber vinyl on all other surfaces;
Cordura looks like a denim and I thought of how fast jeans wear? The Suede (like my dash and my favorite) is a synthetic and is soft, but will hold heat and be sweaty. The Tweed is more like a cotton material, but will wear like iron even though it's not as plush or soft. I want durability at this price.
The black Tweed get's warm to the touch, but since it breaths isn't sweaty on my back and bottom. Of course, color makes a difference too in the heat.
I tried to accent the colors in my Jeep.

I think your design will be great for my car lol with the yellow accent too. I was thinking maybe change the black for beige but not sure
