Re-gear pricing?

I paid $1000 for my re-gear, that was with me supplying the gears and master overhaul kit.

So if you add what I paid for gears, it comes out to around $1650 total.

My re-gear ran me a bit over $1,800 but that included a Detroit Truetrac and Yukon alloy shafts in the rear (labor was $700 of that).

I paid $750 for labor, which included front and back. I supplied the Revolution gears that I purchased from AOR that were around $420.

I put Yukon 5:13 in my LJ and the gears cost $1150 with lifetime warranty on the parts and $800 for the install. I ordered the parts from Randy's Ring and Pinion. That was with the master rebuild kit for each axle as well.

About $2,000 all in.

If you're near Ventura, CA, I highly recommend the shop that did my gears a few weeks ago. $1670 OTD. The shop supplied the Revolution 5.13 gears, and installation kit. This also included installing the Torq Locker I supplied, and new axle bearings and seals on the rear axles. Coastal Differential Repair, 805-654-8080, Marty is the owner's name.
