Of course that was like 20 years ago.
So was the quote that caused the OP to start this thread, so your response was relevant.

With front and rear Eaton Locker you have maybe 800 retail and 750 for gear and installation kit. 3-5 hours is all a total switch can be billed for. 800 dollars an hour for labor is highway robbery!
I don’t agree with your cost assessment when each Eaton locker costs about $900+, and you failed to address the axles listed in my post. That said, my post was useless and confusing because it was in reply to the quote shared by @RINC (#8)…not OP’s post.
What is double wholesale? Are you saying that an E-locker should cost or does cost a shop 540 bucks? That is at least double whole sale. Remember shops pay 30-40% or the lowest retail sales price. There is markup for any site you look at.

We are talking about the total price to the end-user, so my numbers stand for the purpose of quoting an install.
Additionally, I’m aware that markup exists so businesses throughout the distribution channel can exist.
Can you prove that smaller shops procure their parts at 30-40% off retail?
Google it 540 for an E-Locker is ok lunchboxes are 349. Not to mention you could not give me a locker. I want a Thru Track. Know these are for a JK and older. The new LJ POS. JK I can go to TX or California and get a 4.10 rear end for 2055.
