Rear spring relo

Guys,

Have 4" lift, w Bilstein 5100s, thinking about having a guy remove then install new rear spring relo brackets. It'll cost me ~$300, wondering if ride improvement will be significant or minimal?

What's everyone's experience after making this change?

If no one told you it was done, you wouldn't be able to tell by driving it.

Spend $300 on a hf welder, teach yourself how to weld, learn a new skill, charge your buddies $300 to relocate their spring perch.

Agreed, I had never done it before and it took about an hour as part of my mid-arm install.

I did mine because I wanted better alignment of the bumpstops between upper and lower spring buckets. I think that is the main reason people do it. It was the only reason I did it

The only reason to move the spring seats is to make the bump stops line up again after raising the pinion a whole bunch. Any other changes are highly insignificant.
