I have a set of Rubicon axles with lockers. The problem is rear has all the brackets stripped, and I was gonna use that housing for a custom job (coilovers and other goodies) since half the work was done for me. But I want to put a set of Rubi axles with the lockers into my LJ that will maintain stock short arm style suspension. Can I install the rear locker into a standard Dana 44 housing and just add a bulkhead fitting for the air source and omit the sensor? I would rather not have to add the factory brackets back to this axle, then strip down another perfectly fine axle to do what I want to on another project.

Sure you can I put a ruby Locker in a rodeo Dana 44 back in the day. Seems like I recall I had to shave one of the Caps just a hair to get the activation.

Sell the Rubicon locker and replace it with ARB or Eaton

That would be nice, but no guarantee ill get enough. If I can sell the pair and only have to front an extra $1000 or less for a front and rear set I would.
