I'm the same way. The amount of bullshit out there has me so skeptical that I don't even believe what I say most of the time. There's way too much bad info on the internet, shoot I'm even skeptical reading things here 95% of the time.

Why not do it the easy way and just plug the front pump air line onto the rear pump so that leaves the rear sorta open and activates the front locker? You don't have to commit to this to learn, just unplug the switch and "jump" the same wires you would have attached to here with a short piece of wire.

I don’t need to straighten everyone out. And I don’t need convinced. I’m just really glad to have working lockers.
... And some guys like to run the rear only for steering and have the option to hit the front-
...
I didn’t need to be straightened out. I wasn’t bent to start with. Then don't say things like this and expect not to be straightened out with explanations on how things actually work...
...
If someone tells me they like to do that, who am I to argue? I didn’t say they were right, I said that is what they say.
...
It would take a big post for me to pass on all I misunderstand.Somehow I mistook your passing along of false information as your own misunderstanding of how things work. I'm relieved that this isn't the case.

That is a good post and I think a good definition- What we get into is everyone is living their own version of reality also.I think the confusion on what locker to turn off comes from 2 different things. Being able to steer and being able to turn the wheel.
Guys who turn the front off to steer. I think they mean to be able to turn the wheel easier when unlocked.

It is totally fine and it’s sometimes hard to distinguish when someone is trying to hide their own ignorance in a post or are just commenting on something that is really way beside the point and not really their focus at the time- to educate me on selectable lockers when I don’t even have the ability to run two pumps and am hacking up the harness to get both operable is like trying to give swimming lessons to a drowning man.I did too, and I apologize @AndyG.
The video I linked is really informative if one pays attention to what is being shown and explained.
Don't tell Pirate4X4 that.At the end of the day we still have more practical knowledge about the TJ Wrangler here than any website, forum and podcast combined-
And who are we to argue with someone's version of reality? Everything is equally valid. That is a good post and I think a good definition- What we get into is everyone is living their own version of reality also.
Well said- And that’s why I go back full circle -why do I care if somebody wants to run around with the rear and locked up- They can take a laxative. And who are we to argue with someone's version of reality? Everything is equally valid.
Until you are trying to spot them and need them to turn, then reality is if you can't get the rig to do what I need it to do, turning off the front locker with the tires bound up isn't doing anything but wearing out the switch. And who are we to argue with someone's version of reality? Everything is equally valid.
Ah, got it, so from now on we should operate under the premise that you are unteachable. It is totally fine and it’s sometimes hard to distinguish when someone is trying to hide their own ignorance in a post or are just commenting on something that is really way beside the point and not really their focus at the time- to educate me on selectable lockers when I don’t even have the ability to run two pumps and am hacking up the harness to get both operable is like trying to give swimming lessons to a drowning man.
We have a great, great deal going here and we have some really knowledgeable people that know what happens when tires hit rocks and gears go together- At the same time for some reason We cross the line between trying to help the other guy or even just enlighten somebody and get over into straightening people out- seems usually me- and I have probably been guilty of it myself or even worse trying to help somebody and be wrong about what I said.
At the end of the day we still have more practical knowledge about the TJ Wrangler here than any website, forum and podcast combined- I really don’t know how I could have deal
these things if it weren’t for this forum- which is you guys.
Not in my world. If you can't turn the steering wheel, you can't steer, not any more simple than that.I think the confusion on what locker to turn off comes from 2 different things. Being able to steer and being able to turn the wheel.

Being able to steer and being able to turn the steering wheel are 2 different things.
Mine neither. There are some folks who run with the front off so it is easier to turn the wheel. Anyone who has played with their lockers knows a locked rear will push the front. Not in my world. If you can't turn the steering wheel, you can't steer, not any more simple than that.
No way- I’m just stupid, there’s a big difference.Ah, got it, so from now on we should operate under the premise that you are unteachable.
I've explained this many times but the switch diddlers drive me crazy on the trail so I have to give them demonstrations back in camp at the end of the day. I have them jack up one side, turn the tire so they know it is unlocked, have them lock it, and then pull on one tire lug with one finger and have them unlock it. The tire never turns with just the pressure generated by one finger pulling on a tire lug.Mine neither. There are some folks who run with the front off so it is easier to turn the wheel. Anyone who has played with their lockers knows a locked rear will push the front.
