I am installing the UA on my 05 TJR Manual. The transmission does not line up with the bracket. The tranny is about 1/2" to the passenger side. Is this simply from jacking it up and I just use ratchet straps to pull it over?

If you’ve already clearanced the tub, you should be able to yank it (ratchet strap or push), however if you haven’t it could be the tub interfering with the transfer case that you need to clearance (dent a bit). All my interference was on the driver side, pushing it passenger.

I wedged a stout 2x2 between the tyranny and body on the passenger side and then put a knee on it with a fair amount of force to bring it into alignment. Wondered why I was sore the next day.

Yep, that's what it's going to take. Some pushing and finessing.

Would it help to loosen the motor mounts?

Update: Got the crossmember and the transmission bolted in. Need to get the exhaust hanger installed then figure out what the flat pieces with holes are for.

What flat pieces? Are there four of them?
