Was a fun somewhat spontaneous trip. It was just me and a buddy... 1 vehicle.. so we explored... but were extra cautious in the desert. Especially in the desert rocks and mtns.

My buddy was very concerned being in such a vast desert alone... but he hid it. I laughed when he loosened up after seeing 2 girls in a built up 4runner exit as we entered the trail.

If they can do it.. surely we can lol.

Went out exploring a section of the Lolo National Forest (MT/ID border) that caught fire last year and was shut down for a while. Its always an interesting trip driving through an area that had such a significant burn not that long ago. Nevertheless I got to have lunch on a mountaintop with my 1 year old today! :D
