This isnt from a wheeling trip but the wife and I made a hiking trip to Hanging Lake in Western CO. A gorgeous place. The amount of foot traffic though is really taking its toll on the trail and lake, nobody respects the environment. They are going to start a lottery system next year. Glad we got to experience it before the system takes place.

We're on a 7-day Jeep tour. Stanislaus National Forest, Ebbets Pass up to lake Tahoe, back down the 395 though Mammoth and June lake. Then home.

Just got back from a 6 day (we extended it one day) Jeep exploring trip this evening. Will go into more detail in the morning when I'm not on the phone. Started at the southern end of Mendocino National Forest.
