Im brand new to this and have lots of questions!
Currently have an 03 stock TJ That we are modifying for our first jamboree in Oct..
Ok, not JUST for the Jamboree, but it gives us an excuse to do more. 😁
Just recieved the 3.5 lift from metal cloak and was told I need a steering stabilizer. Somebody told me that it shouldn't have to be relocated because the TJ is high enough. Thoughts? Should I go ahead and order the location kit with the stabilizer?

Nope. If everything is set up correctly you dont even need a steering dampner. Dont fall for the gimmicks of high performance dampners either or running doubles. A simple $25 monroe at the auto parts store will do everything it needs to for you.

Of all the things I would raise, the steering damper is something I have never thought about.

Hello all! Reviving this thread to ask for help. I recently bought my tj and the previous owner fell for the double damper bs... the problem is the kit interferes with my ZJ steering upgrade. I'm thinking of grabbing an angle grinder and cutting it off and doing a delete but id like to get it back eventually. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Should i just hack it off and live without a damper? Or is there an easy way to get it back on? Pics of current issue:
