Just made an account so please excuse me if I’ve posted this to the wrong part of the page. Just a disclaimer before my question, everything I’ve learned about Jeeps and all of my mechanical expertise comes from breaking or utterly destroying something on my jeep due to having too much fun off roading. So please, go easy on me.
Background info: I’ve purchased the rugged ridge Mega Short SYE kit
https://www.extremeterrain.com/rugged-ridge-mega-short-tj-yj-186767.html
as well as the rugged ridge CV rear driveshaft that’s specifically made to accompany this kit
https://www.extremeterrain.com/rugged-ridge-rear-cv-for-w-tj-1659206.html
Question: do I also need to replace my front driveshaft if I’m replacing my rear driveshaft? If so, would it have to be rugged ridge? Can I get away with a different brand? Any and all answers will be much appreciated.
