Tackform Dash Mount (No Drill)

Oh yes. It works seamlessly.
All I do is select the input on the radio, then select the Bluetooth module on the phone and it connects.
I do turn up the phone's volume so the radio doesn't need to be maxed out. You do need to turn up the radio as well though, just remember to turn down the radio volume when you go back to regular radio, otherwise it's loud.
But for me and my listening needs, it's been great.

I see three that have the same round 8-pin plug as the back of my stereo. I suppose any of them would work? I can call to find out, but thought you might know.

I'm pretty sure I went with the "BLU-CHRY" one. I dont have a CD changer, so getting a unit that supported one wasn't a necessity for me.
I just looked for one that was in my year range and the buttons on the radio matched with what they show on the website.
(EDIT: I bought a "BLU-CHRY02" which is made for "select 2002-08 Chrysler" radios. AKA: my vehicle year, 2005, and OEM radio model.)

Here is what I did for my mount:
taped 1/4-20 holes on the tackform base, the holes were already the right size.
3Dprinted a support and bolted that to the aftermarket tray I had on my jeep. I used #8-32 machine screws with washers.
Using 4x 1/4-20 bolts secured the base to the support I printed. So far so good! If you would like the CAD file for the support let me know.

This is an old thread, I know... but I figured I'd share a technique I use to tackle this with my motorcycle. You can set up an iPhone automation so that when your phone connects to a specific Bluetooth device--in your case, your receiver--it sets the volume to a pre-determined value. And when it disconnects, you can lower it back down to some other value.
You could even have it start a playlist or something when it connects. This is all presuming you have an iPhone. There's probably something similar for Android.
