We'll see. I'm planning on trying it out in a couple weeks! It would have to be a HELL of a ledge to catch the spare that close to the tub.

Usually it's going down a ledge that bothers me. I hate the weight of the vehicle landing on the spare, which for me is still attached to the tailgate. I usually move the spare to the back when my back seat is out.
Looks like your tailpipe is pretty low also.
