On one car forum I'm a member of if I say I drive a Jeep TJ some of the members will just post a rainbow flag emoji. They're just jealous.
I can fix that...From what I can tell, it seems like most of the "good crowd" from the "other sites" ended up here. I think it works out well for us!

Naww, I was thinking of being "that guy" who says "those things"...You're going to invite all the assholes? Haha
That "snobby person" you're referring to is obviously me. But if you review your thread, you will find that I did explain exactly to you why I wouldn't run them. And you then went on to reply back to me on how and why you then understood my answer and reasoning on the front bumper's bad approach angle it created. Also its bulky design and how far out it extended in front of the tires.... There is one snob here however. I recently posted pictures of my Jeeps bumpers and asked if anyone knew who made them.
This guy who I don't need to name came back with, "poor design I wouldn't run either of them". No explanation just his snobby opinion. I didn't ask who would run them, just if anyone knew who made them. I don't have thin skin, if my stuff is crap just tell me why you think so, don't just make unfounded broad statements that offer no useful info. Other than this dude everyone has been very welcoming and I'm learning a lot.
Just because we'll say sorry even if we didn't do it, doesn't mean you can blame us.You guys are so awesome, Chris is awesome, and this forum is awesome. As a moderator, I've not once had to step in and "moderate". You guys are all grown ups and we are all here to help each other out and have a good time.
Chris has had to "moderate" a couple times and I think it had something to do with those dirty Canadians and their butchering of the queens language but I'm not sure. Something about Stringer and voyeurism. Something something Canadians something.

I also explained why in my first post in your thread why I wouldn't run the rear bumper, explaining that it looked like a weak and poor design.
So despite your above claim otherwise, I did indeed provide my reasoning on why I said I personally wouldn't run either bumper.
And last I heard, personal opinions are usually welcome here and indeed in most forums.

I had to push him to explain himself. Until I did he just shared his opinion that I never asked for. I asked if anyone knew who made the bumpers, but he felt the need to say he would not run them without initial explanation. I have seen other posters finding him to be rude if nothing else. He knows a lot and posts a lot, helps many people I'm sure, but his tone can put people off.I was on the other site the last couple of days. Bored at work. Some funny stuff, but not intended to be funny.
@BendLarry, not to incite but, that particular poster did reply as to why he did not like the design of those bumpers.
I may be a snob in your eyes (I will sleep fine at night knowing that) but at least I am truthful... you have repeatedly said I offered no explanation at first. I did explain my main objection in my very first post, as follows. You only explained yourself AFTER I replied " no explanation?" You are a snob sir and that is my opinion.
I dunno but I wouldn't run either. That rear bumper seems especially poorly/weakly designed.
Most ass holes can be filled in. :meparto:You're going to invite all the assholes? Haha
Don't worry Jerry. I'm an old guy too. The good thing about old age is that it doesn't last long. :meparto:He's also been around the Jeep world for a long time, and is an old guy ...
