Tons of stuff added that is not needed. I think it is best to build a TJ for what you are going to use it for. Sounds utilitarian, I know. Of course, you can spend your money how you want.

Nice job. :thumbsup: I clipped that a year or so ago and figured I'd do it too. Regarding the cover, I have an '03 and an '04 and they are both plastic. I didn't know that some are metal.

Hmm my '02 is metal. Interesting factoid... wonder if the shape is the same? Could a plastic one be replaced with a metal one? If the cover changed for 03 I wonder if any interior workings changed?
