You can get turnkey Ecoboost and Godzilla engines with 10R80 and control packs. This company sets it up so you can actually fire the engine in the crate:

There's probably a job where a 632 inch 1000+ hp motor gets better fuel consumption.i can't think of one though...

Well if you want to really step up how about a Sonny Leonard 940 c.i.d with1650 h.p for $95,600 . Kinda makes my 181h.p. 242 seem slow.

Just an FYI... S&J received a 4.0 block on 4/24... but it won't be ready for 12ish weeks. Sounds like they only keep one on hand.

Might last 12 weeks, days, minutes or seconds but it's an option.
I'm probably going to snag a spare engine or a 5.2 once I get my shop built.
