I just picked up a new to me 60cu tank of 75/25 MiG mix from a local gas supply. The tank cost $185 and $30 to fill. The local AirGas rents the tanks from what I understand so it was a no brainer to pay to own.
I was checking FB market for about a week and prices weren’t any cheaper, and they weren’t all that nearby. Also run the risk of the gas supply not accepting certain tanks.

Although more costly, it’s worth consideration. I have two 80 cf tanks rather than one bigger tank. That way I never run out in the middle of a project and have to wait to get a refill. When one tank empties, I swap in the other, and then refill the empty when I get a chance.
