Im restoring this 97 SE i just got. Today i got the courtesy lights aka footwell lights working. I get the biggest charge when I fix stuff on this jeep. Tonight I just sat in the jeep and enjoyed the new lights next are LEDs for the back seat area and glove box

Figured since it was a beautiful 74 degrees today, I would pull the top and install the Alienshade.

Also drove in the beautiful weather to pick up my new to me Kahr CW9.

LOL Back in my youth, that was the po' boy's way of lowering our rides, baby! Though it was usually something like bags of Quikrete, not dumbbells. Heaven help you if you had a leaky trunk seal on a rainy night! Anyways, we got 'em low, but it made 'em slow!

Finely got around to replacing one of those nutserts in the Transmission skid plate. It wasn't spinning in the frame, just stripped. Anyway, the misses was home so perfect time to do it, that way she couldn't find me a job! She came outside and saw the skid plate on the lawn and said uh-oh what happed. I just looked at her and said, don't worry, it's a Jeep thing!

Today i decided to replace some more of the 20 year old plastic wire loom in my new 2 me 97. I lost the directions but if I recall it said to b sure and install by a lake so I did.
