What did you do to your TJ today?

The Jeep's looking good...but concerning for me is that fact that I now have the urgent desire for a shop large enough to require me to own one of those electric STILL forklifts (an EV I would buy!). 😀

Funny thing is it never slipped once on me since owning it or shifted funny. Everything has been fine. It just made a whining noise and dropped straight to "neutral". No codes either. If it is just the front pump failure, I can replace those myself, I even have the ability and knowledge to rebuild the whole transmission if needed.

Hopefully you'll have better luck than I did. I never had any issues with it, drove it for an hour, it started whining like a bad power steering pump, slipped in and out of neutral, then neutral only. I was 10 miles from home at 3am.

Haven’t posted in a while because everything was going well with my Jeep. Well today is the first time in a few weeks it’s been hot enough to need ac. Only to find it blowing hot air 😭 it blew cold air a few weeks ago last time I used it.

I had $1500 worth of work done to it not even two years ago. New evaporator core and condenser. Surely they wouldn’t be bad again but not looking forward to going down this rabbit hole yet again. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm guessing they warrantied the parts/labor for only one year? 🤔

It only takes one bad seal to leak out the refrigerant. So you might not need a bunch of expensive parts, just some expensive labor to track it down and fix it.

First, verify that your AC clutch engages when you turn on the air. Watch the front of the pulley and have someone flip the switch a time or three, slowly.

You'd be surprised how much of a cheap b@stard, uh frugal I can be. I have disc damage in my neck because of doing stupid stuff and between this $400 forklift, gantry crane and a metric crap ton of ratchet straps, I can do pretty much anything still.

I know, That’s really something you just can’t live without.
At least, that’s how I sold it to my wife.. 😝

You have only spent $1,500 on yours over the course of 2 years 😮

I should give you an award 🥇
