What did you do to your TJ today?

Bye bye chrome eyes, hello black eyes. Just spray painted them black, finally lol.

Finally got me a pretty good fire extinguisher. I did a lot of research and came across ColdFire. I really like how it works. Hope I never have to use it, but now I have some insurance. Seems to work equally well with gasoline, rubber, electrical, grease, plastics, etc. Very interesting stuff...

HERE is a link to the specific one I got for my TJ. (And HERE is a link to their main website.)

I will test it out on several types of fires this spring. If I like it I may invest in more substantial, rechargeable ones for the shop and the kitchen, as well as larger ones for the TJ and JK. We shall see. Regardless, I feel better having one of these guys...

I don't know much about name brand extinguishers but I personally wouldn't feel confident challenging an engine fire with anything less than a 5lb extinguisher.

I'll get there. This is just intended to keep my feet and face from being burnt off in a vehicle fire while I get out. I intend to get a *real* one that is rechargeable in the future. Just grateful to have this since I have had nothing up to now, since 2003...

Finally got around to the valve cover gasketView attachment 10020

That is pure sexy, right there.

I have my Felpro and am ready to go, but waiting until I drop my oil pan so I can do that gasket, the RMS and the valve cover all at once. (I will also be replacing the dented-up pan and cleaning up/repainting the valve cover.) I am sort of nervous as I have never personally opened up an engine before. I hope there is no bad news in the oil sump...

Replaced the paper-coned stock 6" speakers with some Soundstream ones...saw them 40% off and grabbed 'em....More bass without going crazy and installing a under-seat sub.

Thanks Teejay... not 100% sold on the look, but bang for your buck no complaints

Have you replaced your front dash speakers yet?

Put the final coat of bed liner on the other night and put my new fenders on yesterday and today. Gonna take a week off and then going to bed line the front and back fender flares and then I'm done for a bit. However, don't know that I can stay away long as I absolutely love working on this thing!!
