Installed new spark plugs, no pictures, no drama, easy half hour job.
I was going to tint my windshield but heard it can cause issues when top is off and sun hits windshield from interior side. Curious to see your review.Patiently waiting on my window tint guy to show up. Going 5% all the way around. And around 60% on the windshield.

That sucks. Maybe consider it more of a buggy than a Jeep?!Yeah... that's bad.
2 body mounts are ready to punch through, both roll bar main posts have seam damage, both rear floor pans might as well go and a torque box. All rotted or rusted at seams and weld points or where the sound mat seams let in years of moisture and trapped it.
This build is officially cancelled.
FML.
I'm 10 beers into swearing at it. I'll start cutting tomorrow and order the parts when I can afford them. That sucks. Maybe consider it more of a buggy than a Jeep?!
How do you guys like the Rancho shocks? I was just about to order the RS5000xThe box is misleading I thought they sent rs9000 when mine came in.
They don't allow windshield tint in Cali, but my eye are also very sensitive to light. How is it driving at night?Got the tint knocked out and replaced all the brakes on one of my YJ’s.
5% all the way around with 50% on the windshield.
Haters rejoice, but it was mainly for my light sensitive eyes.

RS5000x’s are near the top choice when it comes to off the shelf shocks for the TJ/LJ.How do you guys like the Rancho shocks? I was just about to order the RS5000x
Oncoming traffic is no longer an issue when the other drivers are using low beams. High beams are, of course, still noticeable. But the highs are easier on the eyes now. They don't allow windshield tint in Cali, but my eye are also very sensitive to light. How is it driving at night?
Awesome, thanks for the detailed explanationOncoming traffic is no longer an issue when the other drivers are using low beams. High beams are, of course, still noticeable. But the highs are easier on the eyes now.
Dark unlight/low lit parking lots, dark areas when backing up, and darkened intersections where traffic and peds are possibilities become a point in which more vigilance is called for when behind the wheel.
i tend to be pretty in tune while driving in all sutualtions to begin with. Im not claiming to be the best, we are all human. But its taken only a little getting used to.
Although I dont drive this particular Jeep much, if at all. My other Jeep projects have my attention 98% of the time.
My other vehicles are usually done near to this same standard.
Rainy, low lit roads are the biggest challenge. But even without tint and my eyes, its been a challenge in the past.
5% isn't allowed in Washington State.Finished passenger side stock rear fender with Metalcloak mod cut fender. Need to play with it to try and bring the stock fender up to line up with the top of the MC fender backing. Also picked up some matching dull doors. 5% tint is waaay to dark.

The ranchos are better than the bilsteins and ome nitro sports I've ran in the past. What I like about them is they handle washboard type roads much better than the others. The only thing is they run long so, typically you need to buy 1 size down from your lift size. How do you guys like the Rancho shocks? I was just about to order the RS5000x
Interesting. So the ranchos 5000x that I bought for 2-3” lifts are most likely too long for my 2” BDS lift? Are you running the 2-3” lift up fronts or the Longer ones with the MC fenders? The ranchos are better than the bilsteins and ome nitro sports I've ran in the past. Thanks Alex!! More great information! I was looking at the 2.5"-4" for my rig. The lift was on it when I bought the Jeep and the guy said it's a RC 3.75" lift. So far all the parts I purchased to fix the suspension geometry (track bars and upper control arms) that should fit for my lift have come out long even collapsed all the way down. Do you know a good way to check how much lift I actually have? The ranchos are better than the bilsteins and ome nitro sports I've ran in the past.
