What has happened to Quadratec?

I was on weather.com and a Quadratec ad pops up. Among other things, the ad shows Fuel Anza wheels in 15x8s for $182. This is a good looking wheel, and I know that's a good price for them. So I click on the ad, I go directly to the page for the wheel on Quadratec's website. $225 per wheel. WTF?

I've been really pleased with Northridge4x4 lately. I ended up buying front and rear axle shafts and two lockers (returned one) in the last 4 weeks and they've all been shipped within a business day and were competitively priced.

I bought my Torq locker from Northridge. No complaints.

Seems to happen a lot with popup ads, next time take a screen shot. Not sure about US but in OZ advertised price has to be honoured in most cases. $225 a good price anyway, they are $450 each here!

I did. I called Quadratec's sales department, talked to someone named Greg. He gave me his email address, and I sent a screen shot of the ad. Remains to be seen if they'll honor the price.

Just symptomatic of the current state of things IMO.

Any more, I order something and then just hope it gets here... sometime. Amazon, which used to be extremely reliable, is about 80% now... sometimes not even getting the item ever.


I ordered Mastercraft seats because of @Apparition back in what... May? I have the very expensive seats, but they haven't been able to deliver the brackets for them yet... Every month I get "1-2 more weeks" then nothing. 2.5 weeks ago I got a phone call that their supplier had shipped them, that they'd have them by the end of the week and be sending them expedited to me...

crickets..... still no bracket, and no word.


The only place I've had good and prompt service from this year seems to have been Black Magic Brakes.

The cheaper price is wheel sizes nobody buys or wants.

The price was for 15X8, 5x4.5, 3.75 back spacing.
Exactly what I want.
None of the sizes on the website were at the price in the pop up ad.
