I don't have abs, so I removed the abs tray and build a mount that slides down behind the wheel well.

Where did you get that "cap" for the quick connect? I'm thinking about doing something similar. did you have to go with any kind of high-temp air hose for engine bay run?

I am using hose I found at Harbor freight. IIRC it stated it was rated for 175°. It's been three years and many fill ups and they've held up. My coalescing filter though has not....
Keep in mind that 12v compressors get HOT and they'll shut off on you when airing up once they get hot enough. Mounting them inside the engine compartment can cause them to get hot more easily and shut off more often while you're trying to air up.
