You have some valid points but come on, the parts we are suggesting here aren't fluff or mall crawler at all. They are affordable and very solid. Nobody at the mall will even know they are there. There are things that fit your description but this just seems a bit off base for a discussion about the ZJ tie rod upgrade.I guess I mistakenly thought that there are still some people out there that actually like to work on and repair their vehicles and not just bolt on a bunch of fluff. So I guess that just shows my age that I can actually fix something myself without having to go to the internet and order a bunch of parts to be swapped out.

A lot of people on this thread are reusing their old adjusting sleeve and tie rod attached to the pitman arm. Chris’s parts list makes that assumption. When doing this upgrade, if I Order all the parts Chris mentioned, wouldn’t I still need an additional inner tie rod to attach to the pitman arm?
Irun says to not use the ZJ drag link (DS1430)because of the angle difference!
I’m confused
Thanks, one more question. I’ve read this entire thread... I understand that most people
“Are not “ replacing the right ( passenger side) TRE at the draglink. PN# 3095R. They say that it “is not” Part of the ZJ upgrade. However, even if it is a stock TJ part, why not replace it if you are replacing the other TRE,s?
Probably a dumb question , but where does the part number 3095R go ? I have read this whole thread, studied the pics posted and just dont see it. I want to do a total refresh ordering part numbers suggested, do I need the 3095R part ?No reason not to if you’re doing a complete refresh. On my LJ, all of the tie rod ends were either loose or spewing grease, and one of my adjusters sleeves was frozen up. I went ahead and bit the bullet and replaced all the parts, including the adjusters and that TRE you mentioned. I just pulled it apart in one piece, matched the measurements to my new one to get it close, and assembled all fresh parts.
3095R is not needed if you go with the ZJ Tie rod upgrade. The ZJ tie rod has the TRE built into it.Probably a dumb question , but where does the part number 3095R go ? I understand now, I got confused with all the part numbers.
Thanks
