You can paint almost any color. Best paint job $$$$ remove all trim Fill and sand any imperfections, wet sand all painted areas use lacquerer inside and out. $$Good paint job etch paint, mask and factory paint. $ Cheap paint job (Macco) Chemical etch, bad masking with over spray with non factory paint. Any color change will show thru when off-roading and rocks chip paint off. Cost runs from $600.00-$5000.00 and up. Your $3500.00 Quote is option #2 Good.

Thats what I did with mine. When I replaced the bumpers I sprayed them in gunmetal grey. I was thinking about redoing the sliders in gunmetal also, but it may be a little much.
I recently saw a Jeep TJ sprayed with a finer bedliner in drab olive green. Looked really good.I know this is probably frowned upon by the purists out there, but I always thought that color keyed bed liner would be a viable option. I’ve seen some fairly new Jeeps & also other vehicles that had this done & I sort of like it. It would also have some advantages. Dirt & mud would pretty much just fall off with a water hose or pressure washer, you would never have to wax it, it would be less expensive & you wouldn’t have to worry about a nice paint job getting damaged.

If I had the coin to do a respray it would be olive drab or desert tan
Since mine is now chromeless ( @TheBoogieman ) I am going to remove the black paint from the wheels and possibly get them polished (they are aluminum). Will also be adding sliders with steps for the wife!!
I was going to have my wheel blasted and powder coat them gunmetal to match the bumpers, but with the decline in availability of 35x12.5x15 tires..... I will wait until my tires are beat, sell the wheels and switch out to 17's.
I will probably stick with 15's for as long as I can. There are still a lot of 33/35 15's out the just not in the big name brands.
I have polished ProComp 69's. They are a bitch to keep clean. Pass on polished unless you are ready to let them go dull or be a slave to cleaning them. You could have them polished and clear coated (paint or powder coat.. paint is easier if you need to make a repair, powder is nicer and lasts longer). I did this on the Kinesis wheels on my Audi, but wouldn't do it on the TJ.
