Hey guys,
I need some advice on replacing U-joints. I have my axles out and removed the stock U-Joints. I went to press the new spicer ones in and everything went good on first two sides. The second side must have went in crooked and cracked my u-joint and looks like did some damage to my outer axle ears. Here are my questions. I’m running a 2.5 inch lift on 33’s for reference.

What is the best option to replace outer shafts? I found a Yukon gear and axle option I will attach a picture of. Is this my best option? If I go this route should I do both sides? While I’m at it should I just replace all inner and outer drive shafts with something more robust ? Heres pics for reference. Hope this all makes sense.TIA

Look for an actual Spicer 43205 you should be able to find it for under $75

If your outer is really damaged any stock used outer will be fine to replace it. A cracked cap and a few gouges are nothing to worry about, just put in a new joint. Do not use a press, use a hammer so you don't do this again. The Yukon will probably be fine but you don't need one unless you really bent the old outer.

Edit: or what @Blackjack suggested if you need a new one

Be sure to really clean the yolk... even sand it lightly. The rust and junk can impede the new ujoint installation.

Dont forget to grease.

Also... be sure you are using u-joints... and not me-joints.
(Dad joke)

I would just replace the u-joint, the outer shaft looks ok from what I can see in your photo. The correct u-joint is a Spicer 5-760x, avoid store brand u-joints.
