For sure! Just fiddle with it. Go with the three strikes and your winching rule if there are people behind you

Thats what we tend to do. Give it 3 attempts and either go around or pull line.
Do you have a good resource for trails in the Ozarks and Ouachitas? I've downloaded the USFS MVUMs but no way to tell whether I'm heading out for something fun or a boring dirt road. I like to have some info before I drive 3+ hours.

I've been wanting to travel some of the Arkansas portion of the TAT. A motorcyclist created the route but I'm sure a Jeep could travel some or all of it.

I am just north of mountainburg ar. I went up warloop rd Saturday which is a part of that. Been through there a few times.
The trail picture is called “the slab” fairly steep concrete out in the sticks.

I’ve been noodling around the Ozark St Francis/buckhorn area for 15yrs. With all the trails designated uhv anymore it’s hard! What area are you in? Come up here one day like mountainburg. I’ll take ya on a trip gravel rd to the trail head and then Shazaam! We can run through the leg that this post is about.

I'm in the OKC area, so it's 3.5 hours just to Fayetteville. Ouchita is over 4. This new (to me) locale is an adjustment from when I was 15 minutes outside a national forest and it didn't take a big time commitment to just go explore.
I take groups down Pannell rd in the forest. It comes out natural dam hwy 59
