Next best to Savvy bumper?

Hard to place an order when you can’t get ahold of anyone 🤷🏻‍♂️
I thought they had the "buy now" price even when it was backordered. Thats the way it was with my BL. Looks like they changed that.

I do see they have an option for "email me when available"

It's been that way since I've been ordering from them. Some things have a buy and wait, others are "email me when available" . It seems like the email me ones are bigger items, like the rails UA, etc.

Savvy has stuff that is different enough to justify waiting...sliders, trail doors, underarmor, midarm being examples. There are also products that I don't think there is a big enough difference between competition to justify dealing with their order/shipping/service BS...which is why my rig is a bastardized combination of Savvy, Warn, UCF, Rough Country, and Barnes.

If the wait is 6 months, then fine...just give me an idea what it is. I don't like just placing an order or checking a website day after day not knowing whether it's going to be 2 weeks or 25.

What do you need to get ahold of them for? Is it not available on the website?
How do you place an order when it’s sold out online and no one to get ahold of?

agreed

3 months and counting waiting on an email re sliders. No confirmation whether I'm actually on the wait list.
It looks they currently have a few lj sliders in stock per the site. I never got an email though saying they were available. I thought about switching from my jcr sliders to the savvy but not sure it's really worth the switch vs using funds for other upgrades. I hate the jcr logo lol.

I'll go look. Would be swapping out Poison Spyder for Savvy.

the PS logo is even worse, haha.

Regarding the JCR's, if they're working for you I would just leave them. You know none of the fasteners will end up lining up, or worse, they'll line up halfway over an existing hole....you'll end up having to drill 50 new holes in your tub and do a ton of work just to end up with a different version of the same thing.

Wondering if I'd end up with the same bolt hole situation PS - Savvy. Only reason for considering the change is the poor mounting setup of the PS. Disclaimer: this is from info gathered on this forum.. otherwise I'd have been ignorant of the deficiency. Using the body mounts as a mounting point IIRC.

The spyder? I actually like mine lol. 1st trip to Blaine's after installing the fenders he used a magic marker to draw little antennas on it. :ROFLMAO:

That is about where I am now that I have fixed the install issue I created when I installed them. I ran the jcr because they were $484 when I bought them and savvy was out of stock. They are priced about the same as the savvy now. I think funds would be better spent elsewhere. Thanks for talking me off the ledge lol.

Savvy has more Fasteners and they all look like they would be in different places than my current JCR's. I don't think that would be a deal breaker. @mrblaine had a good solution to that in the sliders thread

Care to elaborate a little more?
That they don’t give a flying fuck about their customers and that it’s an acceptable way to do business. They make a couple of good parts but it’s a terribly run business. Some of y’all think their parts are gods gift to Jeeps and fall over yourselves to support a company that treats most of their customers as an afterthought. YMMV.

Yeah, the bumper is sexy tho. You rather bang two 5’s or wait for that perfect 10/10 👌 hot slut to grab you by the crotch and drag you into the public restroom?
