What did you do to your TJ today?

Oh no, what's going on back there?
The bolts were frozen, snapped off the two on the driver's side, getting ready to use flag nuts. Went to do the passenger side and found both bolts were rounded off. PO must have attempted to change them and messed them up royally. Spent 6hrs grinding on them. What a bitch!

Drove it to work for the first time since my trip to Texas last September. An hour west of Atlanta a lot of creative drive line noises serenaded me for the final leg of my trip. Since then I've had a new clutch installed, the transmission rebuilt, 4.10 gears and a LSD installed and a hardtop slapped on. It was a wonderful experience to have only tire roar and wind through the roof rack as my soundtrack today. I've got quite a few parts still to install, but it runs beautifully. It's ready to go into the woods this weekend.

Where ya headed?

Not sure. I am hoping to convince the wife to play in the woods for a day. Saturday is already booked so it will have to be a day trip Sunday.
Dang, I’m headed to Morris Mountain tomorrow if you wanted to join.

Still have some more work to do before it is ready for Morris Mountain. That is where she used to wheel it back in 2005 through 2009. That place is a blast. We used to hit there and Mountainside ORP, and Choccoloco Mountain quiet a bit.

I was having trouble seeing your pic. ;)

How did you do it ? The photo was right from the PC, but it turned when it uploaded in the thread. Any who, I will remove the tranny cover plate this w.e. to start applying oil, grease and penetrant oil. I have my hopes in finding just a stuck linkage, not a bad Transfer. I can’t wait to take it to the dirt !!!!

I went to chocco once and would like to go back. I’d say I probably wheel AOP the most. It’s probably closer to you in cartersville than Morris or chocco.

Haven't been there yet. Been into a lot of long weekend camping/exploring trips in the last two years.

I need to do more camping. I was in South Carolina and moved down here last year for chiropractic school. AOP is fun. Pretty rocky, but there’s a lot to do even if you’re mildly built.

Dana 35 e-locker is not working...again... nothing but trouble. Took the rear diff cover off to diagnose and squirted on a new drain plug. Voltage is correct...calling Eaton tech support I the morning.
