What did you do to your TJ today?

Yep, remove the black tape and all will be well!!! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
That's how I avoid the check engine light on all of my vehicles (black tape). Is that racist? If I have an actual problem, the vehicle won't run good. That light is just like my gas gauge light, I ignore it until I can't. Then I push to the nearest gas station.
p.s. I bought a V8 Cadillac years ago that read my current MPG in "Real Time". It depressed me.......TAPE!

It was a moment of joy to drive this old heap again after 4 months of tearing out the old frame and putting in a new one and a transmission rebuild which I had never done before. Everything works perfectly. Last couple of pics from this project.

This is what the old frame looked like after I got it out from under the tub.

Less PO hackery...now I want to find a chase module...or build my own... couldn't find three wire high low pin lights...this will do for now...was tempted to get the welder out, fill the original hole and redrill...settled on a couple of fender washers painted and drilled out...

I had to do the same thing, but I had the three wire LED's from Poison Spyder. I cut all the wires exactly how they described in the instructions. The technician and I worked for three hours over the phone to get it to work but no such luck. In the end I drilled a new hole and bought two more lights and wired (according to my state motor vehicle laws) a dedicated turn signal and a dedicated side marker.
