"Pacing myself" build

I've been meaning to ask you about this, how are you liking the IAS system? How often do you fill it up & whats it run you? Seriously considering this over doing a compressor.

It works just fine for my needs. I opted for the smaller 5lb. tank vs. the standard 10lb. one because I wanted the tank to sit low enough that I could still use my duster. Costs me about $20 to fill it, which will last me about 6 fill ups filling all 4 tires from 15lbs. to 26lbs. Also comes in handy around the house for airing up bike tires, wheelbarrow tire, etc. Nate at IAS is a good guy, and an avid Jeeper, so I have no problem supporting his business.

I appreciate it bud. I'm still trying to figure out where I'd want it mounted so it doesn't become a projectile. I like your idea but really want/need the 10lb. Gotta still be able to use my duster as well!

My starter has been acting up lately. Go to start it in the mornings and Zing! Think the starter drive is going south. Well, it just about left me stranded at home Tuesday morning, so I pulled it after work Tuesday and took it to a local DC Electric shop for a rebuild. A new Mopar unit was $160. I figured he could replace all the internals and I'd still get a factory unit, and be supporting a local small business, and maybe even save a few bucks.
Got is back today. All new internals, and a new solenoid. $40. Not too shabby!

Been pretty quiet over here. New year, and maybe some new plans for the Jeep. Gonna be changing oil, spark plugs, and finally tackle replacing my leaking valve cover gasket. Might be changing direction on my TT plans due to some recent developments over the holidays. More on that later.

Lol! Between 1 and 8 weeks. Best I can do for you at this juncture LR.

BTW LR, after putting 500 or so miles on these new Rancho shocks, and a couple overlanding trips, I have to say they have come into their own. The ride on washboard trails has improved significantly. Around town with our wonderful roads I feel like I'm floating over the potholes rather than into them. I think they just needed some break in time. Come to think of it, my OME shocks were like that too. It's just been so long ago, I didn't remember. Jury is still out on longevity, so won't know that till I get there.

Thanks....I think I need to get rid of my old shocks (unknown brand) and go with the Rancho shocks.
