What's on your winter upgrade / TODO list?

Revival!!! Haha.
Winter projects will begin tomorrow starting with mounting and balancing these.
- I will replace rear brake shoes and debate whether I want to do a rear disc conversion.
- 16” BBK from Blackmagic.

1. Get back to my Jeep (and give it a hug)
2. Change the engine oil and rear differential fluid
3. Install used Savvy trail doors
4. Contemplate paint matching trail doors
5. Swap out Method wheels for AR Outlaw II wheels
6. Store Jeep until the end of May
7. Dream about installing a turbo
8. Dream about getting back to my Jeep in May

Looking forward to the 2023 version of this thread.

Update:

#4 and #5 won’t be happening.

Got a couple interior stuff I’d like to replace if I come across used stuff on kijiji.

I ended up with the sound system upgrade and I may have got a bit amped up! It was fun learning how to match system components, how to tune the new amp I added and then the install went pretty easy.
Replaced the front dash and sound bar speakers with Polk 5.25" coaxial, added the sound pods to the front and packed the sound bar cavity with poly fill, ran all new heavy gauge speaker wire to all four corners.
The woofer never worked after the PO installed an aftermarket head unit and it was trash anyway so I dropped in a Kicker compact 8" sub in the console and turned the console into a sub enclosure using some MDF and packed it with poly fill. Didn't lose any storage in the console upper tray either, it just fit,
Then installed a Soundstream amp under the steering column by fabing up a little bracket where it rides horizontally behind the lower steering column panel where I can access for any additional tuning needed. Then swapped the head unit with a nice little JVC with a Sirus adapter.
I did good, this little fucker really bumps now! About all you want at 25% volume and it didn't crack during high volume testing. Never thought I would be doing a stereo upgrade and kinda scoffed at those that that was their first up grade, but the TJ is a capable 4 wheeler now and I wanted to do something to it this winter.

Nothing wrong with wanting to actually hear the music or radio! Good job man. On my list eventually.

Yea man blasting tunes with am amp to all four corners +sub provides much richer experience. The front pods helped a bunch and I also polyfilled just in case it could help. I’m pretty much good at all speeds that I run my rig at top down.

Even the 6.75” kicker sub has been fantastic with dynamat inside and out of the enclosure for added rigidity. I ran 1/4” spacers to allow more sub extension by keeping the woofer off the grill opening. I bet that 8” makes you very happy.

Running the Soundstream under the column with brackets and an aluminum plate has made me very happy. I’d prefer a separate amp for the sub but this will definitely do.

I added spacers as well for the sub clearence and mines a 5 channel amp so I'm feeding 100 watts to each corner and 400 watts to the sub with plenty to spare. Pretty fun cranking it up at the Jeep gathering and watching everyone migrate over to see what was up!
