Radiator: Coolant or ATF through extra holes?

Hi, quick question:
I've got a stick shift. Replacing the radiator and the extra holes for auto transmission cooling are not blocked off. I assume I can leave it this way? On auto they're used for atf, not coolant?

If this is correct I'll just RTV the rubber plugs it came with into place to prevent critters etc getting in there.

The lower ports are blocked off from the main radiator, you can leave them open if you want.
