I just like the looks of the 35s. But please do give me ideas/suggestions on the modest lift.
I just want to do it the right way, not cut corners and enjoy a Jeep that my wife and kids also enjoy.

Leave it 100% bone stock, get some good OEM rims and good tires in a 30" variety and go have fun forever. My wife will be DD this one, so I’d like to do it the best way possible for her.
No, you want a rig on 35's that you can convince your wife to tolerate. The kids don't have an opinion, they will be happy just getting in the rig and going out into the back country with mom and dad.I just want to do it the right way, not cut corners and enjoy a Jeep that my wife and kids also enjoy.
ain't nothing looks better than a Jeep TJ on 35's driving in the mall parking lot !!!! It shows you have deep pockets too.....

You're gonna spend 12-15 grand to build it right on 35's and you won't do that. You'll wind up with the same bullshit compromises that made the other rig suck because that's a lot of money to dump into a good build that is wholly unnecessary except to feed some aspect of your ego.
Is she good with jumping in and out of a 5.25" lifted TJ on 35s day in and day out?
This is what I am after right now ~2.5”
I just need help to properly ID what it is I need to buy
Gonna stay with 31-32” & comfort , nothing crazy
Gonna be for a 16 year old
I almost bought a teraflex kit. (Glad I didnt after reading)
However need some tips on what OME springs to choose and supporting elements. Suspension COMPLETE overhaul kinda project to NEW feeling
already bought the Crown steering upgrade
So I just need Ranchero RS5000s and not sure what else
The thing rides like a swaying dump truck right now

Mrblaine, I respect you and your opinions on Jeeps. It seems you have a vast knowledge of these rigs and have experienced it firsthand.
When I made this post, I was hoping you’d chime in and give me some wisdom on/how to do this build. So, with that being said. A) should I spend 12-15 for my wife to DD this thing? B) should I spend less and use 33s for her to DD this thing? C) should I just tell her to drive her Navigator and rack up the miles? Or D) should I slowly invest money into this rig and do it slowly, but the right way, so I don’t have a piece of crap toy for my family?
Thanks, I hope you’ll be able to steer me in the right direction and truly help me with this build.
What does your wife want?

Why can't it be driven stock with some good stock size tires and rims?

I’m looking to buy the OME ultimate kit from DPG off-road. Do I need a SYE and rear driveshaft also?
For my OME lift setup, i bought the following
Rancho 5000x shocks for 2-3” lift
OME heavy duty springs (yields 2.5”)
JKS rear trackbar bracket
JKS front sway bar disconnects
Bumpstops extensions
I ran this setup for 2 years with both 31’s and 32’s. No issues, it drove great and preformed great off-road
This was using stock control arms, stock track bars, stock rear sway bar, stock brakelines, etc
Here is 32’s

If i was staying with this size then i would have added a small spacer up front to level it out. And if you want a complete overhaul then i’d suggest replacing all bushing components like the control arms, you could go adjustable if you plan on doing more mods like a TT later
