Would anyone have one of these OEM rear tow hooks, or know where to find? I didn't have any luck at my local junk yard or searching eBay. Thanks

Try sending a request to Daveys jeep in Ohio or parts breakers out in Colorado.
That's only meant for use as an attach point when being carried by something like a car carrier. It's not rated for offroad recovery uses.

I’m wanting it because I’m trying to put mine back as original as I can get it, and it came new with one.
I think those mainly came on Rubis, but not positive.

My '06 non Rubicon Unlimited came with one.

I just heard back from Jim Repp who recently retired from Jeep as their senior most engineer... aka the father of the Rubicon Wrangler...
My question to him...
Hey good morning Jim, quick question for you about this hook that came on some TJs. Was it designed for offroad recovery use or was it primarily meant for use when the Jeep is being transported and just needs to be secured? (I attached a copy of the photo in post #1 above to my message to him)
Jim's response...
"Its a tow hook. Validated to 1 1/2 GVW. At 30 degree angles as well." (15 degrees per side)
The TJ's GVW is 5,000 lbs. so that means it's rated to 7.500 lbs. Not quite the typical 9.5-10.5K lb. rating of the recovery hooks we typically install onto our TJs.

My burning question is, who drilled the extra hole for the oem rear tow hook on the assembly line?
I just used a generic search for jeep wrangler tj parts, Then check the box for location for shipping only, or local +shipping. That's it.
Also, I would post on the WranglerForum again, under the Wanted section. It will stay visible longer, and not scroll down and out
Let me look, I think I may have one in the garage from a JK. I’m not sure it they fit a TJ or not but can do some checking.

Put a wanted post in the forum here. I got a rear tow hook from a member for nothing. It was a generous act. When I changed my rear bumper I switched to a different rear tow hook and gave away the OE to 'the next guy' as a Pay it Forward!
