TNT Ford Dana 44 high pinion truss

It is heavy fancy decoration that occupies space that could be utilized for good suspension. 😉

Is this the one you have? When I did mine the only bracket kit available was from Rubicon Express.

If TNT had offered these back when I was building my axle I might have used one of their trusses too. For mine it's just a mini truss over the diff and then I had to locate the rest of the brackets based off mock up from my Dana 30. I like their axle pad setup since it allows you to add a little stretch if you want.

When I moved the breather I drilled and tapped the hole for it. I can snag you a picture later today or tomorrow.

Truss is set up for a 3 link. Im sliding the axle forward so I may chop off the track bar mount to bring it closer to the inner c.

The first time I built my Jeep I had to cut & move the trackbar mount. This time around I did the TNT steering box rotation & stretched my front about 2.75" so I used TNT's trackbar mount & trackbar also.
 
That's not the most offensive truss I've seen.

I do think if you're doing all that work, you might as well go 3 link.

A little trimming on it IMO it wouldn't limit up travel much at all.

As far as bracketry to put that Dana 44 drivers uca there's not much besides a TNT truss or the Rubicon express brackets, that I can't tell if they're still made and this offered me most of what I need.
Above axle track bar, capable of between 1 to 3 inch stretch as far as coils come into play, and not to bulky.

Yep, I think your only other option would be to do custom stuff by piecing something together which is just a PITA...

I suppose I don't "need" one. It's just the route I'm going to put a ford hp44 into my tj.

How important is weight savings and suspension clearance compared to Jeep decorations?

I mean at the end of the day the truss is maybe 30 lbs if I don't get the up or down travel I'm looking for or satisfied with I guess I'll rip it off and try something else.
 
The control arms have a bend in them so frame side will be iron rock off-road flex joints and axle side will be synergy dual durometer bushings.

It looks to me like that UCA mount uses a stock-size joint. With the 3 link, that's putting a whole lot of stress on a small bushing.

I'd consider putting a larger and better flex joint in there (like a johnny joint).

Or put that effort into pushing the rear back. I am in the process of planning 101" on mine. With my current front stretch, that means I need to move the rear frame arch back 6". Your goal of 103" would mean 8". The amount is work to do either is comparable. Then you can keep the steering separate from the wheelbase stretch, since building that to work nicely is its own challenge.

I am. I have a Genright crawler tank in the garage waiting to go in which should allow the 7 inches in the rear.

Good luck with actually doing that. If that is the same ~19 gallon GR stretch tank I was looking at, I couldn't come up with a way to get more than 4-5" past where the diff cover smacks into the stock gas tank at full shock compression. Additionally, the GR tanks interfere with getting the exhaust out the back.
